Monday’s Torture
Monday always seems to be the hardest workout of the week for me. The last couple of months I have been going to the Olympic Lifting class on Sunday to help jump start the week and lessen the shock of the Monday workout, a good plan in theory, thus far has not worked.
L, the instructor for the Monday class, and I share a special bond-we both have to be very cognizant of making sure the O-bar clears our belly(s). Our bonding ends as I’m missing out on the glow and morning sickness and she still has a way to go when/if her girth will approach mine.
Monday's workout: Can you say wall balls? 150 wall balls, 3 minute rest, 150 wall balls I don't know which one of the sadistic I mean wonderful instructors came up with this treat, I sure would like to thank them. In case you're wondering a wall ball is a squat with a medicine ball and you stand up and throw the ball against the wall approximately 10 feet high, catch the ball and repeat as prescribed. In this case 300 times, once again I want to express my gratitude.
